An electronic queuing system will assist in improving customer satisfaction by reducing waiting times in banks, building societies, credit unions,
restaurants, bistros, cafes etc. Upon entry to the office or shop, the customer
can simply take a number from the ticket dispenser. The tickets are pre-printed
in sequential order, and the customer waits until
called by the next available server. These simple yet reliable systems efficiently direct customers to the next available service counter and while waiting in queue provide them with useful information.
These systems are presently being used in banks, building societies, motor registries,
cafes, clubs, bistros etc. throughout Australia.
Available in 2 and 3 digit versions. Each digit is made of 4" (100mm)
high seven segment LEDs. Each display board has a pleasant sounding chime with
user adjustable volume control.
Numbers are called using the supplied 19 key mimic keypad that allows :
- display of current number
- number increment or decrement by one
- number increment or decrement by ten
- number increment by two
- fast forward or fast rewind to any number

Public Office Queuing System
The ticket dispenser
is found at the office entrance or in a reception area. The customer can
choose the required type of service by either pressing a button or
pointing at a touch screen. The ticket is issued along with general
information such as approximate waiting time, date etc. The dispenser
can also be equipped with a card reader. This is a unique opportunity
for the customer to quickly enter the system with the help of his/her
personal card. This card can be used to give customer priority, announce
their arrival to a scheduled appointment or to a spontaneous meeting
with customer service etc.
The advantages of giving customers a ticket are many:

All customer flow events are stored in a computer database for the
purpose of generating statistical analysis. (When was the ticket issued?
